Planetary mixer – from slow stirring to fast beating
The KitchenAid stand mixer was the first stand mixer for home use with the unique "planetary mixer". What does that mean? It means that the shaft of the stand mixer rotates in one direction and the mixing tools in the other direction. They have at least 59 contact points in the bowl. This means that all the ingredients you add are completely mixed - without exception! Whether you are mixing cake batter, kneading pasta dough, making whipped cream or mincing chicken.
Enjoy fast and thorough results. Simply select the appropriate mixer tool and set the speed using the speed control. Choose speed 1 for gentle mixing, 6 for whipping and 10 for fast whipping. You can make whipped cream in less than 60 seconds(2). As if by magic.
Simple and convenient handling
The food processor with tilting motor head is easy to use as the mixing tools can be quickly attached and removed. Press the release button and tilt the motor head backwards to attach or remove the flat beater, flexi beater, whisk or dough hook.
While you're working, you can place the splash guard on top of the bowl so that you can add ingredients easily and cleanly. It also prevents wet or dry ingredients from splashing or being thrown out during the mixing process. Once you're done, you can put the bowls, splash guard, beaters and dough hook in the dishwasher. Clean the whisk by hand with warm soapy water.
