7 Day Face Scrub Cream Rinse-Off Formula

Clinique 7 Day Face Scrub Cream is a rinse-off cream polisher rather than a harsh grit scrub. Clinique developed it with dermatologists to lift away the rough, flaky surface that makes skin look tired, so the moisturiser you put on afterwards has somewhere to go.

What it actually does

• Polishes off surface roughness. Clinique describes it as gently sweeping away flakiness and uneven texture instead of stripping skin.
• Softens the look of fine lines. By smoothing the surface, the brand says it makes fine lines less noticeable.
• Clears the path for hydration. With dead surface cells removed, whatever you apply next is no longer fighting through a layer of flakes.
• A long list of things it leaves out. No parabens, no sulfates, no phthalates, and also free from fragrance, mineral oil, alcohol, SLS, talc, silicone and gluten.
• Vetted and vegan. Clinique states the product is allergy tested, dermatologist developed, and made entirely from vegan ingredients.

How to use

1. Start with a bare, cleansed face. Clinique is explicit that this goes on skin with no makeup left on it.
2. Massage lightly. Work it over the face with gentle pressure — the cream does the polishing, your hands do not need to.
3. Stay away from the eyes. Keep it off the eye area entirely.
4. Skip any active breakout. Clinique advises against using it over skin that is currently breaking out.
5. Rinse or tissue off. Warm water, or tissue it away if you prefer. Then carry on with your usual Clinique 3-Step routine.

Does the name mean I use it every seven days?

The name is Clinique's product name, not a dosing schedule. The brand's own instructions do not pin it to a fixed frequency — so read your skin. If it starts to feel tight or sensitised, space the uses further apart.

Can I use it while I have a breakout?

No — Clinique specifically says not to apply it over active breakouts. Work around the spots, or wait until things calm down.

Is it fragranced?

No. Clinique lists it as fragrance-free, and also without mineral oil, alcohol, talc, silicone, gluten, parabens, sulfates and phthalates.

How long does delivery take?
