Aceology Green Tea Mask is a lightweight gel mask for skin that has gone flat. Aceology likens its blend of niacinamide with green tea and soybean extract to fresh green juice, only for the face — and it is flexible, working either as a twice-weekly treatment or as an overnight sleeping mask.

What it actually does

• Brings radiance back. The brand positions it as a quick revitaliser for a complexion that looks lacklustre, dull or dry.
• Tones and tightens as it brightens. Green tea extract supplies antioxidants and, per Aceology, gives a toning and tightening effect while clarifying the skin.
• Protects and purifies. Soybean extract brings further antioxidants plus fatty acids and vitamin E that occur in it naturally — all of which the brand links to a healthy-looking complexion.
• Soothes and strengthens the barrier. Niacinamide — vitamin B3 — is credited with calming, reinforcing and moisturising the barrier to reduce dryness.
