COSRX Low pH Niacinamide Micellar Cleansing Water is a no-rinse cleansing water built around a pH close to the skin's own, with niacinamide in the formula. You wipe it over the face on a cotton pad and it lifts makeup and the day's grime without the tight, stripped feeling that follows a harsh wash.

What it actually does

• Cleanses at a low pH. COSRX positions the balanced pH as the reason it neither strips nor stings, during the wipe or afterwards.
• Takes makeup off. The brand's claim is gentle removal of makeup along with everyday impurities, no scrubbing required.

How to use

1. Saturate a cotton pad. Pour the water straight onto the pad.
2. Wipe across the whole face. Keep going gently until nothing more transfers onto the pad.
3. Let it sit on stubborn spots. For long-wear or heavier makeup, hold the pad in place for roughly ten seconds before wiping.
4. Rinsing is optional. COSRX says no rinse is needed, but you can follow with warm water or a second cleanser if that is how you prefer to finish.

Will it handle waterproof or long-wear makeup?
