COSRX The Hyaluronic Acid 3 Serum is a single-minded hydrator built around a 3% hyaluronic acid concentration — a level COSRX describes as customised for giving skin more water without heaviness. It sits in the serum step of your routine and sinks in fast, leaving skin smooth rather than tacky. If your face feels tight by midday or your makeup keeps gathering in dry patches, this is the gap it fills.
| Best for | Dry and dehydrated skin — flakiness, rough texture, makeup clumping |
| Key active | 3% hyaluronic acid |
| Texture | Light and non-greasy; absorbs quickly to a smooth finish |
| When to use | Serum step, morning and/or evening |
| Skin types | Suitable for all, per COSRX — with dry and dehydrated skin benefiting most |
What it actually does
- Delivers water, not oil. Hyaluronic acid is a substance skin already contains, and COSRX formulates it here at 3% so the serum can draw moisture in and support skin's baseline condition.
- Absorbs quickly. The brand describes the texture as lightweight and non-greasy — it disappears into skin and finishes smooth, so nothing is left sitting on top.
- Targets four specific complaints. COSRX lists dehydration, dryness, rough texture and sensitivity as the concerns this serum is aimed at.
- Helps makeup behave. It is recommended for people whose foundation clumps or whose skin flakes — both of which usually trace back to a moisture shortfall rather than the makeup itself.
- Fits any routine. A plain hydrating serum with no exfoliating or brightening actives, so it slots in before your moisturiser without competing with the rest of your shelf.
How to use
- Cleanse first. Apply at the serum stage, once your face is clean.
- Use a few drops. That is all the brand asks for — this is not a product to pour on.
- Work outwards. Begin in the middle of the face and massage towards the edges with your fingertips until it has absorbed.
- Follow with moisturiser. A hydrating serum gives skin water; your cream is what holds it there. In the morning, finish with SPF.
Timing note: COSRX says it can be used in the morning, at night, or both — so build it in wherever you will actually remember it.
Is it right for you?
Yes, if your skin is…
- Dry or dehydrated and losing moisture through the day
- Flaking, or rough to the touch
- Sensitive and happier with simple formulas
- Struggling to keep foundation looking even
Think twice if you…
- Want a treatment serum — this hydrates, it is not formulated for acne, pigmentation or lines
- Already layer several hydrating products and feel no tightness
- Prefer a richer, balm-like finish; this one is deliberately light
Questions
Does this replace my moisturiser?
No. It is a serum, and COSRX places it in the serum step of a routine. Hydrating serums supply moisture; a cream on top is what stops that moisture escaping. Use both.
What does the "3" in the name refer to?
The hyaluronic acid concentration — 3%. COSRX chose that level deliberately, on the reasoning that matching the formula to your skin type matters more than simply using the strongest version available.
Will it feel heavy in Egyptian summer?
It is described by the brand as lightweight and quick to absorb, with no greasy residue, which makes it one of the easier textures to wear in heat. Keep the bottle out of direct sunlight and away from a hot car.
How long does delivery take?
Delivery takes 3 to 21 working days, depending on availability. Items already in stock arrive at the shorter end; anything we bring in for you takes longer. Working days exclude weekends and official holidays.
How can I pay, and what if the bottle arrives damaged?
We accept credit card, debit card, Instapay and mobile wallets — there is no cash on delivery. Returns cover defective, damaged or expired items only, reported within 1 day of delivery; once verified, your refund goes back to the original payment method within 15–30 days.
