Drunk Elephant B-Hydra™ Intensive Hydration Serum is that water step: a light, fragrance-free serum built around provitamin B5 and sodium hyaluronate that targets dryness, dullness and the crepey look that comes with both.

What it actually does

• Hydrates now and later. Drunk Elephant describes B-Hydra as delivering immediate moisture while also training skin to hold onto water over time, which the brand links to a more luminous, fresher-looking complexion.
• Uses a smaller humectant on purpose. Sodium hyaluronate has a lower molecular weight than standard hyaluronic acid, so per the brand it can sink in further and plump out the look of fine lines from within.
• Holds hydration in place. Provitamin B5 draws water to the skin and keeps it there, which the brand says visibly supports the barrier.
• Brightens with pineapple ceramide. Included to boost luminosity and smooth the look of tone and texture, according to the ingredient list.
• Formulated gently: pH 5.7, vegan, cruelty-free, and free of fragrance, silicones and essential oils. Listed as suitable for normal, dry, combination and oily skin.

How to use
