What it actually does

• Covers completely, in one spot at a time. This is a full-coverage spot concealer, and the brush tip lets you put product only where you need it instead of over a whole area.
• Brightens on contact. Dior describes an immediate radiance boost, with micro-pigments that blur the look of imperfections and lift the complexion so the eyes stand out more.
• Targets tired eyes. The caffeine in the formula is the ingredient Dior credits for skin feeling energised and for visibly de-puffing the under-eye area, with a fresh, awake effect straight after application.
• Stays where you put it. Waterproof and crease-proof, so it is suited to long days, heat and emotional occasions.
• Doubles as a brightening and sculpting tool. Dior's own instructions go past concealing — the same product is used to add glow and to define features.

How to use

1. Conceal. Apply around the eye area and onto anywhere that needs extra help — under-eye shadows, patches of redness, individual blemishes.
2. Brighten. Place it on the parts of the face that fall into shadow: under the eyes, the dip of the chin, the sides of the nose. The result is a natural-looking glow rather than a highlight stripe.
3. Sculpt. Draw it along the forehead, down the bridge of the nose, on the tip of the chin and across the tops of the cheekbones, then blend.

Do I need a separate brush?

No. The applicator is a makeup brush rather than a doe-foot sponge, which is what makes the precise placement Dior describes possible. You can still blend the edges with a fingertip or sponge afterwards.

What does the caffeine actually do here?

According to Dior, it helps skin feel energised and visibly de-puffs the look of under-eye circles, giving an immediate awakening effect. Treat it as a cosmetic, same-day effect rather than a long-term skincare treatment.

Will it survive a long day in Egyptian heat?

It is formulated to be waterproof and crease-proof, which is the main reason it holds up through long wear. Set the under-eye lightly with powder if you are very oily there.
