DIOR BACKSTAGE Lash Curler is the one-squeeze tool for lifting and curling lashes before mascara. Dior designed it to sit comfortably against any eyelid shape and reach the stubborn lashes most curlers miss, without pinching the lid.
| What it is | Eyelash curler — one step, before mascara |
| Fit | Adapts to all eyelid shapes |
| Build | Rounded soft pad · squeezable mechanism · ergonomic handles |
| Pad replacement | Swap after six months of use |
What it actually does
- Curls in a single press. Dior says one squeeze of the ergonomic handles is enough to set a curl that lasts the day.
- Reaches the awkward lashes. The brand describes it as catching even the hardest-to-reach lashes, which is where most curlers leave gaps.
- Doesn't pinch. Dior credits the shape and the rounded soft pad with keeping the lid clear and the whole thing comfortable to use.
- Protects the lash. The brand states the squeeze mechanism gives curl with no risk of breakage.
- Fits different eye shapes. Dior positions it as adapting to all eyelid shapes rather than suiting one curve.
How to use
- Work base to tip. Dior recommends squeezing from the lash root upward toward the ends for an elegant curve.
- Move inner corner outward so you catch the full lash line in sections.
- Curl before mascara, not after. Using the tool first is what maximises the finished result.
- Set it with mascara. Apply mascara over the curled lashes to lock the shape in.
- Change the pad every six months. Dior specifies this interval for ongoing use.
Safety notes from Dior: check before each use that the top and bottom of the curler line up with the pad. Don't bend or reshape the frame. Make sure the pad still holds its shape — if it's deformed, fit a new one. A damaged curler can injure the eye or the lashes. Don't use this or any eye product on injured, irritated or infected eyes, and keep it away from children.
Questions
Will it fit my eye shape?
Dior states it adapts to all eyelid shapes and reaches lashes that are normally hard to catch, without pressing on the lid.
Does it pull lashes out?
Dior describes the squeezable mechanism as delivering curl with no risk of breakage, helped by the rounded soft pad. Always check the pad is intact and correctly aligned before you use it.
When do I replace the pad?
Dior's instruction is to change pads after six months of use, and sooner if the pad has lost its shape.
Before or after mascara?
Before, always. Dior notes that curling first is what maximises the makeup result, then mascara sets the curl in place.
