The Beautyblender® Sunshade Limited-Edition Makeup Sponge is the classic blender in a sun-kissed colourway, built with SPF in mind. It is the tool for getting sunscreen onto your face evenly, without the white streaks and patchy edges that fingers tend to leave behind.

What it actually does

• Smooths SPF out properly. Beauty Blender positions this edition specifically for streak-free sun-cream application, and the same bounce works for foundation and BB cream.

How to use

1. Run the sponge under water before every single use — it is designed to be damp, never dry.
2. Squeeze the excess out, pressing it into a towel if you want it drier faster.
3. Bounce your SPF across the face rather than dragging it.
4. Wash with Blendercleanser® after each use to lift makeup and grime out of the foam.
5. Let it dry fully somewhere clean and airy before you put it away.

Storage warning from the brand: sponges need light and air or they grow mould. Never keep a damp blender in a ziploc bag, a drawer or any sealed space — stand it on the canister lid instead.

Does it have to be wet?

Yes. The instructions are to wet it with water for each use and squeeze out the excess before you start bouncing.
