What it actually does
- Two trademarked technologies do the work. OX-C Treatment™ is the one Dior ties to a threefold rise in collagen production; Prolatonine™ is there to hold back the collagen skin would otherwise shed through the night.
- Seven days is the brand's marker. By then, Dior says, the complexion reads smoother and more radiant, with a regenerated, lifted-looking quality to it.
- Firmness and pillow creases. The brand's position is that skin firms up, and that the lines sleep leaves behind — along with a tired look — grow fainter the longer you keep using it.
- Notable ingredients include glycerin, meadowfoam and camellia seed oils, sodium hyaluronate, white lily (Lilium candidum) bulb extract and jasmine flower extract — the complete INCI list is below.
- Half of a round-the-clock pairing. Dior slots this in as the night-time partner to Capture Day Creme in what it calls a pro-collagen firmness protocol.
How to use
- Evenings only: let Capture Le Sérum sink in first, then work the creme across the face and down the neck.
- To run the brand's 24-hour version, pair it with Capture Day Creme (OX-C Treatment™) in the morning and keep this Prolatonine™ creme for bedtime.

Do I need the serum and day cream for this to work?
On its own, this is your evening moisturiser. Dior's suggested routine layers it over Capture Le Sérum and pairs it with Capture Day Creme to cover the full 24 hours of what the brand calls its pro-collagen firmness protocol.
When should I expect to see a difference?
Dior's stated timeline is one week — by then the brand says skin looks smoother, firmer and more radiant, with a renewed, almost-lifted quality. As with any brand claim, individual results vary.
Does it contain fragrance?
Yes — parfum (fragrance) appears in the ingredient list, along with jasmine and lavender extracts. If you prefer fragrance-free skincare, factor that in.
