DIOR THE MICELLAR WATER BTL

DIOR The Micellar Water takes makeup off without the tug of a scrub or the rinse of a foam. Dior built it to clean and comfort at the same time, so skin reads purified and pores look clearer once you're done. The formula is 98% natural-origin by Dior's ISO 16128 calculation, water included.

What it actually does

• Lifts makeup gently. This is the OFF half of the formula — a soft sweep rather than a scrub, for face, neck and the eye area.
• Hydrates while it cleans. The ON half: Dior says it hydrates, refreshes and reinforces the skin barrier instead of stripping it.
• Leaves pores looking cleaner. Dior's claim is a purified look after removal, with pores visibly cleansed.
• Four ingredients doing the work. Purifying French water lily, hyaluronic acid, cornflower floral water and saponins — Dior's chosen combination for cleansing without harshness.
• 98% natural-origin. Calculated to the ISO 16128-1 and 16128-2 standards with water counted in; the final 2% is there for performance, feel and stability.

How to use

1. Saturate a cotton pad. Enough that it glides rather than drags.
2. Sweep over face, neck and eyes. Press and hold on eye makeup for a few seconds before wiping.
3. Repeat with a fresh pad until nothing more lifts off.
4. Add a second cleanse if you want one. Dior suggests following with the OFF/ON Foaming Cleanser (sold separately) for a double cleanse.

Do I need to rinse afterwards?

Dior's instructions are simply to apply with a cotton pad. If you prefer a fully rinsed finish, follow it with the OFF/ON Foaming Cleanser as the second step.

What does the 98% figure actually mean?

It's the share of natural-origin ingredients measured against the ISO 16128-1 and ISO 16128-2 standards, with the water content counted in. Dior notes the remaining 2% supports the formula's performance, sensory feel and stability.

Can I use it on the eye area?

Yes — Dior lists the eye area along with face and neck. Apply gently and avoid dragging the skin.
