Too Faced Cloud Crush Blush is a pressed powder that aims for soft edges rather than a sharp stripe of colour. The formula is infused with a blend of flower extracts, built to go on light and build up, and it comes in two finishes — a diffused satin and a diffused matte.
What it actually does
- Blurs instead of stamping. Too Faced designed the powder around a diffused effect, so the colour fades out at the edges rather than sitting as a defined patch.
- Starts sheer and builds. Coverage is light by design, which gives you room to layer until the intensity is where you want it.
- Feels cushiony, not chalky. The brand describes the texture as a smooth velvet powder that wears close to the skin.
- Natural finish in two options. Pick diffused satin for a soft sheen or diffused matte for a flatter look — the formulation is a pressed powder either way.
- 93% naturally derived. Per Too Faced, that's the proportion of naturally derived ingredients in the formula, which also carries a flower extract blend.
- Scented like a tropical beach — the brand's own words, so expect a noticeable fragrance when you open it.
- Free of parabens, and listed by the brand as vegan and cruelty-free.
How to use
- Draw an X on the apple of the cheek with a blush brush, then blend it out using a circular O motion. Repeat until the colour reads the way you want.
- Go light on the first pass. Too Faced's own advice is to build in thin layers rather than loading the brush.
- Adjust the placement to your face shape. The brand's guidance: on a round face, angle the colour along the high points of the cheek and blend inward; on an oval face, run it vertically from the top of the cheek down to the apple; on a square face, begin at the apple and blend straight across toward the ear in a horizontal line; on a heart-shaped face, start at the apple and sweep upward in a vertical line toward the top of the ear.
Is it right for you?
Yes, if you want…
- A soft, blurred cheek rather than a crisp pop of colour
- Light coverage you control by layering
- A choice between satin and matte in the same formula
- A powder texture that doesn't feel dusty
- Vegan, cruelty-free and paraben-free
Think twice if you want…
- Full, opaque colour in one sweep — this is a buildable light formula
- A fragrance-free product; this one is distinctly scented
- A cream or liquid texture rather than a pressed powder
Questions
What's the difference between diffused satin and diffused matte?
Both share the same blurring approach. The satin option leaves a low-key sheen on the cheek; the matte option finishes flat. Neither is a glitter or shimmer finish — the overall effect Too Faced is after is natural in both cases.
Does it smell strong?
There is a scent, and Too Faced leans into it — they compare it to a tropical beach. If you avoid fragranced makeup on principle, treat that as the main caution with this one.
How do I keep it from looking patchy?
Tap off the excess, place it with the X shape, then blend in the O motion the brand recommends. Because coverage is light, patchiness usually comes from applying too much at once rather than from the formula.
How long does delivery take?
