Most setting powders kill the glow along with the shine. Kosas Cloud Set is built to do the opposite — a feather-light, talc-free pressed powder that starts life as a skincare-packed mousse and is baked down into an ultrafine veil that smooths, blurs and sets without ever looking like powder.

What it actually does

• Sets makeup and absorbs shine — not radiance. Bamboo stem extract soaks up excess oil so skin reads matte where you need it but still soft and alive.
• Softens texture. Passion-fruit leaf extract reduces the look of fine lines, while Chinese peony visibly shrinks the appearance of pores.
• Loose-powder finish, pressed-powder tidiness. The baked format gives you that diffused, airy result with zero mess in your bag.
• Gentle credentials. Kosas lists it as hypoallergenic, non-comedogenic, clinically and ophthalmology tested, and safe to use around the eyes. Vegan, gluten-free and cruelty-free too.
• Camera-safe, per the brand. In a Kosas consumer study (20 women wearing it with Tinted Face Oil and Revealer Concealer for one week), every participant agreed it caused no flashback and kept skin looking like skin.

How to use

1. Load a tapered brush with a small amount of powder.
2. Sweep or press it over the forehead, nose and chin — or anywhere you want to lock makeup down and absorb oil.

The formula is deliberately sheer and baked ultrafine — Kosas describes it as feeling like nothing on the skin. It targets shine, not glow, so it shouldn't leave the chalky flatness traditional powders can.

Is it safe for photos and flash?

In the brand's own one-week consumer study, 100% of participants agreed it produced no flashback and didn't oxidize. That's a Kosas-reported result, but it's a reassuring one for event makeup.

Can I use it around my eyes?

Yes — Kosas states it is ophthalmology tested and safe for use in the eye area, so you can set concealer with it.
