Diorshow 24h Buildable Volume Mascara is Dior's take on separated, lash-by-lash volume rather than one thick clump. The brush is built to pick up each lash individually, so you can stop at one light coat or keep layering until the eye reads fully dramatic.

What it actually does

• Defines rather than floods. Dior positions this as a lash-by-lash volumizer — the shape of each lash stays visible as volume builds.
• Builds as far as you want it to. One pass gives definition; extra coats are what take it to a bold, high-volume eye.
• Holds through the day. Dior describes the formula as transfer-proof and reports 24-hour wear from an instrumental test on 21 subjects.
• Conditions while it wears. Cornflower extract is in the formula for lash hydration, and Dior says each coat works to strengthen lashes.
• Suits different lash shapes. It's designed to work across lash types, not just naturally long ones.
• Leaves out a long list. Formulated without parabens, phthalates, sulfates (SLS and SLES), mineral oil, formaldehyde and formaldehyde-releasing agents, oxybenzone, coal tar, hydroquinone, retinyl palmitate, triclosan and triclocarban, with under 1% synthetic fragrance.

How to use

1. Start at the roots. Place the wand at the base of the lashes and work it up toward the tips.
2. Wiggle as you go. A small zig-zag motion on the way up deposits product evenly and separates the lashes.
3. Layer for drama. Add another coat (or two) while the previous one is still fresh to build the volume up.

Is it waterproof?

Dior describes it as transfer-proof and long-wearing rather than waterproof. In practice that means it resists smudging onto the lids and under-eye through a long day.

Will it work on short or sparse lashes?

It's made to suit different lash types, and the formula is both volumizing and lengthening — so short lashes get definition from the first coat and extra length and thickness from the layers after it.

Does the 24-hour claim mean it survives anything?

The 24-hour figure comes from a Dior instrumental test on 21 subjects. Treat it as the formula's wear potential under test conditions; your own day — heat, rubbing, oily lids — will shift that.

How long does delivery take?

Delivery takes 3 to 21 working days, depending on availability. Pieces already on our shelves ship at the fast end of that window; anything we bring in for your order sits further along it.

Can I return it?

Returns cover defective, damaged or expired items only, and the issue needs to be reported within 1 day of delivery. Once confirmed, the refund goes back to the original payment method within 15–30 days. Opened mascara that simply wasn't your preference can't be returned.
