What it actually does

• Removes makeup and grime without scrubbing. A blend of very mild surfactants captures dirt and pollution while emollients keep the process gentle — gentle enough, per the brand, for eyes and lips.
• Feeds the barrier while it cleans. Ceramides AP, NP and EOP mirror the moisturising lipids skin makes itself; Drunk Elephant says they help fill gaps between skin cells and defend against water loss.
• Adds back fatty acids. Cold-pressed wild melon seed oil brings omega 6 and 9 plus antioxidant polyphenols for soothing, moisture-supporting benefits.
• Formulated at pH 5.0 and free of fragrance, essential oils, silicones and PEGs. Cruelty-free, in recyclable packaging.
• Doubles as a midday refresh. The brand suggests using it between cleanses any time skin needs a quick reset — no rinse needed either way.

How to use

1. Shake the bottle before each use — the milky formula separates.
2. Soak a soft cotton pad and glide it over face, eyes and lips.
3. On heavy eye makeup, hold the pad still for a few seconds to let it dissolve, rather than tugging or rubbing.
4. That's it — no rinse. Follow with the rest of your routine, or nothing at all.
