How to use

1. Shake the bottle first. Give it a proper shake every time before you dispense.
2. Start small. A pea-sized amount is the starting dose, and skin needs to be completely dry before it goes on.
3. Target the shine, not the whole face. Smooth a thin, even layer over oily zones only — T-zone, nose, chin — and add more only where you need it.
4. Let it set. Give it three minutes to dry and keep your face still while it does. This is the step most people skip.
5. If you see a white cast, Patrick Starrr's fix is to tap the area with damp fingertips to lift off the leftover residue.

Can I use it on my whole face?

The brand's own direction is to apply it to oily areas only. If your shine is limited to the T-zone, keep it there and leave your drier cheeks bare — that's how you avoid a patchy, over-matte look.

Why does it leave a white film sometimes?

Usually too much product in one spot. Patrick Starrr's tip is to press the area with damp fingertips, which takes the excess off without disturbing what has already set. Going back to a pea-sized amount next time fixes it at the source.
