What it actually does

• Gloss without the stick. Gel polymers are what create the wet shine here, and NUDESTIX credits them specifically with keeping the finish non-tacky.
• Conditions as it colours. More than thirty percent of the formula is lip-protecting plant oil, drawn from rapeseed, sunflower, cottonseed and soybean.
• Pigment with smooth payoff. The brand describes rich colour and even coverage rather than a barely-there tint.
• Antioxidant support. Vitamin E is included as the antioxidant in the formula.
• Works on cheeks too. The same balm is meant for the apples of the cheeks, which keeps your lip and cheek tones matched with one product.

How to use

1. On lips: outline first, then fill the lip in and press your lips together to even it out.

Can I wear it on cheeks over a full base?

Yes — the brand's own direction for that case is to dot it on and dab it in rather than drag, which keeps your foundation where you put it.

Is it suitable if my lips are already chapped?

It is an ultra-moisturising balm with a high plant-oil content and it is dermatologist tested for sensitive skin, so it is on the conditioning end of lip colour. Severely cracked lips still need a plain healing balm first.
