What it actually does

• Addresses why pores look bigger. Beauty of Joseon's reasoning: pores are the route sebum takes to the surface, and when dead cells and surplus oil block that route, the pores stretch. So the mask clears, then cools.
• Kaolin takes up the oil. The brand credits kaolin with absorbing sebum, while red bean extract and powder handle the exfoliating side and refine how skin texture reads.
• Absorbs without the tight, squeaky aftermath. The moisturising soft-mud base is formulated to draw out oil and debris without leaving skin dry or drawn, per the brand.

How to use

1. Cleanse first. Then dry your face — the mask goes onto dry skin.
2. Spread it evenly across the face, or just over the areas where oil and congestion gather.
3. Leave it 5 to 10 minutes.
4. Add lukewarm water and massage gently — the red bean powder does its exfoliating here — then rinse off.
5. Follow with your hydrating steps so skin isn't left bare after the oil has been absorbed.

Does it dry hard like a typical clay mask?

No — Beauty of Joseon formulated it as a moist soft-mud texture specifically so it absorbs sebum without the dryness and tightness that stiff clay masks cause.

Can I use it with other exfoliants?

The red bean powder is already a physical exfoliant, so avoid stacking it on the same night as a scrub or a strong acid. Space them out.
