Glycolic Acid Exfoliating Body Stick from The INKEY List, here in a two-pack, gives you two of the brand's chemical body exfoliant — one to keep at home, one for the gym bag. It is a solid-format treatment you glide straight onto the areas that need it, with no rinsing afterwards, aimed at the stubborn body concerns most people deal with: rough patches, ingrown hairs, KP bumps and body breakouts.
What it actually does
- 7% glycolic acid clears surface dead skin, which is what helps smooth out rough, bumpy texture.
- Salicylic acid works on clogged, oily pores, targeting body skin that breaks out or develops ingrown hairs.
- Shea butter softens as it exfoliates, added to soothe and comfort skin straight away.
- Four concerns, one product. The brand's claim is visible improvement on ingrown hairs, KP bumps, body breakouts and rough skin in as little as seven days, based on a four-week study involving 100 participants.
- The format makes it precise. A solid stick means you can place product exactly where the problem is and leave it to absorb.
- Common enough to matter. The brand cites a survey of 500 people aged 18 to 45 in August 2023 in which nine out of ten reported body skin concerns.
How to use
- Apply to clean, dry skin, morning or night, directly onto the affected areas. Nothing to wash off.
- Build up slowly. Two or three times a week to begin with, moving towards daily use if your skin handles it.
- KP bumps: up to twice a day on the affected areas, to work on the keratin build-up behind that rough, bumpy feel.
- Ingrown hairs: up to twice daily while they are active, then down to once a day on prone areas as maintenance.
- Body breakouts: up to twice daily on the areas involved.
- Underarms and bikini line: up to once a day. Let it absorb for roughly 10 to 15 minutes before any deodorant or antiperspirant. The brand's preferred timing is applying the stick to clean dry skin at night and your deodorant the next morning. Leave a minimum of eight hours after hair removal. Once things improve, drop to around three times a week.
- Dry, cracked heels: up to twice daily. For something more intensive, put a thicker layer on before bed and sleep in socks. Bare feet will be slippery — keep socks on until it has fully absorbed.
Safety notes from the brand: cover any area treated with AHAs with sunscreen before going out in the sun. Never apply to broken or already irritated skin. Always allow at least eight hours after hair removal. The stick is built to be used across different body areas without needing to be cleaned between them.
Is it right for you?
Yes, if you deal with
- KP bumps on arms, thighs or elsewhere
- Recurring ingrown hairs
- Breakouts on the back, chest or shoulders
- Rough texture, dark underarm or bikini-line patches, or cracked heels
Think twice if you
- Have broken or currently irritated skin on the areas you want to treat
- Cannot cover treated areas with sunscreen before sun exposure
- Only need general body maintenance — the brand suggests its PHA body water cream for everywhere else
- Remove hair frequently and cannot leave eight hours before applying
Questions
Do I rinse it off?
No. It goes onto clean, dry skin and stays there — glide it on and carry on with your day.
Can I use it on my underarms with deodorant?
Yes, up to once daily, but give it 10 to 15 minutes to sink in first. The brand prefers you apply the stick at night and your deodorant in the morning.
How soon might I notice a change?
The brand's figure is as little as seven days, drawn from its four-week consumer study involving 100 participants.
Do I need a separate stick for different body parts?
No — it is formulated to move between body areas without needing cleaning in between. The second stick in the duo is there for convenience, so you can keep one at home and one with you.
How long does delivery take?
Expect 3 to 21 working days, depending on availability. See our Shipping Policy for details.
How can I pay, and can I return it?
Payment is by credit card, debit card, Instapay and mobile wallets — no cash on delivery. Returns cover defective, damaged or expired items only, reported within 1 day of delivery, with approved refunds issued to the original payment method within 15 to 30 days.
