What it actually does

• Shimmer without loose glitter. The colour comes from a blend of superfine crystals and pearls, which the brand positions as a gentler route to sparkle than conventional glitter — and it is formulated to sit put rather than drop onto your cheeks.

How to use

1. Swipe or tap straight onto the lid. No brush needed — the stick is the applicator. Swipe for a wash of colour, tap for a more concentrated deposit.
2. Blend while it is fresh with a fingertip or a soft brush if you want the edges diffused.
3. Close the cap firmly after every use, otherwise the stick dries out.

Will it crease or slide on oily lids?

Tower 28 rates the formula for up to eight hours of wear and says it does not shed fallout. If your lids are very oily, a thin layer tapped on rather than a thick swipe tends to hold better; a primer underneath is optional, not required.

I have eczema on my eyelids. Is this usable?

The brand states it is safe to apply on eczema-prone or dry eyelids and that it is non-irritating, silicone-free, talc-free and ophthalmologist tested. As with any new eye product, patch test first if your skin is currently flaring.
