Hydra Life Intense Sorbet Crème is the richer member of Dior's Hydra Life hydration family — a face and neck cream built around hyaluronic acid, mango butter and mallow extract. Dior aims it at skin that wants real nourishment alongside a brighter, smoother finish.

What it actually does

• Feeds the skin's water reserve. Dior credits hyaluronic acid with supporting the epidermal water reservoir, which is the mechanism behind the plumping it describes.
• Nourishes with mango butter. The brand highlights mango butter for its nourishing reputation — it's what gives this version its richer feel.
• Adds hydration from mallow extract. Mallow is listed as a straightforward hydrating ingredient in the formula.
• Soothes while it brightens. Dior describes a calming, brightening effect that leaves skin looking smoother and more radiant.
• Leaves out the usual suspects. No parabens, phthalates, mineral oil, sulfates SLS or SLES, oxybenzone, hydroquinone, coal tar, retinyl palmitate, triclosan, triclocarban, formaldehydes or formaldehyde-releasing agents, per the brand.

Dior reports an instrumental test on 11 panellists in which 33% registered more hydrated skin at 24 hours and 21% at 48 hours. 2. Add the essence. Follow with Hydra Life Sorbet Water Essence (sold separately) for visible plumping.
3. Seal with this cream. Finish by massaging the Intense Sorbet Crème over face and neck for the nourishing, hydrating layer.

What's the difference between Intense and Fresh Sorbet?

This Intense version is the rich cream, built with mango butter and positioned for normal to dry skin. The Fresh Sorbet is the lighter gel-cream in the same line. Both carry hyaluronic acid and mallow.

Can I use it on my neck?

Yes — Dior describes it as a face and neck cream, so take it down past the jawline.

Morning, night, or both?

It's a general-use moisturiser and works either time of day. If the texture feels too rich under makeup, keep it for evenings and use something lighter in the morning.
