How to use

1. Decide on sharp or soft. The formula supports a precise line or a deliberately smudgy one — Kosas' own framing is to wear it however you feel it.
2. Sharpen for precision. Use the built-in sharpener when you want a crisp edge.
3. Smudge while it is still movable. Work the attached smudge tool over the line in the first moments, before the gel locks down.
4. Cap it firmly afterwards. Pressing the cap on tightly is what keeps the formula creamy — a dried-out tip is the main cause of skipping.

Can I smudge it, or does it set instantly?

There is a brief window where it stays blendable, then it locks. Do your smudging immediately after drawing the line using the attached smudge tool, and the waterproof hold takes over from there.

Do I need to sharpen it separately?

No — the sharpener is built into the pencil, along with the smudger. The barrel is retractable, so you twist up only what you need.

Which shade should I pick?
