How to use

YSL breaks the application into three moves:

1. Stretch. Begin at the lash base and make five zigzag push-up strokes to draw each lash out to its full length.
2. Sculpt. Follow with four lifting strokes from root through to tip to build defined, sleek body.
3. Raise. Press the brush into the lash base and hold it there for three seconds so the lift sets.

Is it waterproof?

YSL describes it as sweat-resistant with 24-hour wear, including after exercise. That isn't the same claim as waterproof — if you plan to swim in it, choose a mascara labelled waterproof.

Do I need an eyelash curler with it?

Not necessarily. The third step — holding the brush at the lash base for three seconds — is YSL's built-in way of locking in lift, and the brand's consumer test recorded 39% more curl.

Can I wear it if my eyes are sensitive?

YSL states the formula is ophthalmologist-tested and safe for sensitive eyes. If you wear contact lenses or react easily, start with a short wear test.
