Lip Liner 101™ Creamy & Defining Lip Pencil

Saie Lip Liner 101™ is a wood-clenched lip pencil built to not dry your lips out. The formula blends easily enough that redrawing your natural lip shape stops being a precision exercise, and it finishes soft-matte rather than waxy. Saie offers it in five shades designed to sit under a gloss.

What it actually does

• Lines without the drag. Saie's claim is no tugging, no tightness, no feathering and no dryness — the three nourishing oils and butters in the formula are what they credit for that.
• Conditions while it wears. Meadowfoam oil is in there to hydrate and revive lips that are dry or cracked, jojoba seed oil to moisturise, and shea butter — rich in vitamin E — to soften and smooth.
• Reshapes forgivingly. The formula is ultra-blendable by design, so enhancing your natural lip line does not demand a steady hand on the first pass.
• Finishes soft-matte. It frames the lip rather than adding shine, which is why Saie designed the five shades to pair with their Glossybounce™ High-Shine Hydrating Lip Gloss Oil (sold separately).
• Vegan, gluten-free and cruelty-free, with no parabens, phthalates, mineral oil, retinyl palmitate, oxybenzone, coal tar, hydroquinone, SLS or SLES sulfates, formaldehyde or formaldehyde-releasers, triclosan or triclocarban. Synthetic fragrance stays under one percent.

How to use

1. Sharpen the tip first. Trace along your natural lip line, then fill the lips in.
2. Smudge the edge with a fingertip so the outline softens into the fill instead of reading as a ring.
3. Top with gloss — your usual one, or Glossybounce™ for the glossier SaieGlow™ look the brand pairs it with.

When you finish it: Saie's recycling guidance is to clean out the overcap, bin what remains of the wood pencil, and send the clean overcap to Pact Collective. Their outer cartons are FSC-certified and made from 100 percent post-consumer waste, so those go in home recycling.

Will it dry my lips out?

That is the problem Saie set out to solve. Meadowfoam oil, jojoba seed oil and shea butter are in the formula specifically so it conditions as it wears — the brand states there is no tightness or dryness from it.

Can I use it to fill in the whole lip?

Yes — Saie's own method is to define the edge with a sharpened tip, fill the lips, then smudge the outline with your finger. Used that way it works as a full-lip base rather than only an outline.

Do I need the gloss too?

No. The five shades were designed to pair with gloss and Saie suggests their Glossybounce™ oil, which is sold separately — but the liner stands on its own with a soft-matte finish, or works under whatever gloss you already own.

How long does delivery take?

What if the pencil arrives broken?

Send us a photo within 1 day of delivery. Returns cover defective, damaged or expired items only; verified refunds go back to your original payment method within 15–30 days. We cannot take back a shade simply because it was not what you expected, so message us before ordering if you want help choosing.
