Natasha Denona Love Face Eyeshadow & Cheek Essential Palette puts eyes and cheeks in one slim case: five soft-textured shadows in rosy mattes, a metallic and a sparkling foiled finish, plus a cream blush and a gel-to-powder highlighter. Natasha built it around her own wish for a single palette that could travel and carry a face from daytime to evening.

What it actually does

• Covers eyes and face in one lid. Five eyeshadows at 0.6 g each sit alongside a taffy-pink cream blush (5 g) and the Dream Glow Highlighter in a neutral champagne (3.7 g).
• Mixes three shadow finishes. Matte shades — Esmé (dusty fuchsia), Aika (dark eggplant) and Giddy (dusty rosy nude) — pair with Juliette, a light pink metallic, and Affinity, a sparkling foiled finish in icy vintage rose.
• Reads as a rose-toned story. The pinks, plums and champagnes are built to work together, so you can stay inside one palette instead of hunting for a matching blush.
• Packs flat for travel. Full-size case measures roughly 3.76" wide, 6.3" deep and 0.6" high.
• Formulated without parabens or mineral oil, and the brand states it is cruelty-free.

How to use

1. Cream blush. Sweep it on the apples of the cheeks and up toward the temples using a blush brush or your fingertips. One pass reads sheer; a second layer with a dense fluffy brush deepens the colour.
2. Highlighter. Press onto cheekbones, brow bones and the Cupid's bow with a fingertip or a highlighter brush.
3. Prime the lid first with Natasha Denona Eyeshadow Base, which is sold separately.
4. Mattes: blend with fluffy brushes, or switch to a detail brush for precision. Tap off the excess and work in swiping motions for a diffused edge.
5. Metallic and foiled shades: dampen your brush or use a bare fingertip when you want the brightest, wettest-looking payoff.

What exactly is inside the palette?

Nine products in total: a 5 g taffy-pink cream blush, a 3.7 g neutral champagne Dream Glow Highlighter, and five 0.6 g eyeshadows — Esmé 473CM, Juliette 474M, Aika 475CM, Affinity 476SF and Giddy 477CM.

Do I need an eyeshadow primer?

The brand's own instructions start with Natasha Denona Eyeshadow Base on the lid. It isn't included in this palette and is bought separately.

How do I get the foiled shade to look its brightest?

Affinity is the sparkling foiled icy vintage rose. Apply it with a slightly damp eyeshadow brush, or pat it on with your fingertip — both lift the shine well above what a dry brush delivers.
