Magnetic Eye Color

NUDESTIX Magnetic Eye Color is an eyeshadow pencil built to do four jobs with one stick — prime the lid, wash on colour, line the eye, and highlight the points that catch the light. NUDESTIX describes it as a waterproof, long-wearing formula with 24-hour wear, offered in satin and matte finishes across neutral shades. It is soft and gliding enough to blend with a fingertip, which is the whole point of a touch-and-go stick.

What it actually does

• Four tools in one pencil. The brand positions it as a four-in-one: lid primer, colour, precise liner and highlighter — so one stick replaces a small handful of products.
• Primes the lid as it colours. NUDESTIX says the pencil preps lids for all-day wear, which is why it is called out specifically for oily lids that usually make shadow slide.
• Stays put. Waterproof, and claimed by the brand to wear for 24 hours.
• Lifts the high points. Intended for cheekbones, tear ducts and brow arches, not just the lid — it doubles as a face highlighter in luminous shades.
• Blends instead of dragging. The texture is soft and gliding, with even colour payoff, so edges soften with fingers, a sponge or a brush.
• Two finishes, neutral shades. Satin and matte options in a neutral range NUDESTIX says suits all skin tones, aimed at a fresh, bare-but-better eye.
• Formula notes from the brand. Made without parabens, sulfates or phthalates, free of preservatives, not tested on animals, safe to use on the water line, and ophthalmologist tested for sensitive eyes.

How to use

1. Start with the base. Sweep the highlighter/primer shade across the whole lid first.
2. Add depth. Draw a deeper shade into the crease, then soften it with a fingertip, sponge or brush until the line disappears.
3. Define. Draw the darker shade along the upper lash line, lower lash line or inner eye, then smudge to blur it into a soft, worn-in finish.
4. Highlight last. Tap a touch on the brow arch, tear duct or cheekbone to catch light.

Tip: work in short strokes and blend immediately. The formula is designed to set, so once it has set it is meant to stay — shape it while it is still fresh.

Can I use it as eyeliner on its own?

Yes. Lining is one of the four uses NUDESTIX designed it for — draw along the upper, lower or inner eye. It is also noted as safe for use on the water line, so you can take it right up to the lash roots.

Do I need an eyeshadow primer underneath?

Not according to the brand — the pencil is meant to prime lids itself, which is why it is recommended for oily lids. If you have a primer you love, there is nothing stopping you, but it is designed to work without one.

Will it work for sensitive eyes or contact lens wearers?

NUDESTIX states it is ophthalmologist tested for sensitive eyes, free of preservatives and formulated without parabens, sulfates and phthalates. If your eyes react easily, try it on one eye first. We can't give medical advice — if you have an eye condition, check with your doctor.

How long does delivery take?

Delivery takes 3 to 21 working days, depending on availability. Shades we hold in stock ship at the shorter end of that window; anything we bring in for you sits toward the longer end. Working days don't include weekends or official holidays.
