MakeWaves® Mascara

Tower 28 Mini MakeWaves is the travel-friendly size of the brand's vegan lengthening and volumising mascara — the same Triple-Wave Wand and curl-memory formula, in a mini you can trial first or keep in your bag for touch-ups.

What it actually does

• Volume, length and definition in one. It amps up lashes while keeping the result natural-looking, coating each lash individually instead of in clumps.
• Remembers your curl. Aquaflex® — an ingredient borrowed from hair styling — holds the wave of your lash with memory hold while leaving lashes soft, lifted and curled.
• Buildable without the crunch. The lightweight, clean formula lets you stack coats and still avoid stiffness, flakes or clumping.
• Kind at removal time. It washes off easily, which Tower 28 says helps prevent lash breakage and irritation, and the castor oil blend conditions lashes in the meantime.
• Sensitive-eye credentials. Per the brand: ophthalmologist tested, allergy tested, contact-lens safe and 100 percent safe for sensitive eyes. The full-size version is an Allure Best of Beauty winner, and the tube uses 78 percent post-consumer recycled resin.

How to use

1. Use the inner wave of the dual-sided brush at the base of lashes to build volume.
2. Sweep the longer bristles through to the tips to lengthen and define.
3. Add coats to taste — the formula stays smooth as you build.

Is the mini the same formula as the full size?

Yes — same vegan formula with Aquaflex® curl memory and the castor oil blend, and the same Triple-Wave Wand design, just in a smaller tube.

Is it hard to remove?

No — it's designed to wash off easily with your regular cleanser, which also helps avoid rubbing, irritation and lash breakage.
