Master Crystal Reflector® is MAKEUP BY MARIO's bouncy, buildable powder for one job: putting light exactly where you want it. The brand describes the effect as a spotlight on the eyes or face, left behind as a see-through layer of shimmer rather than a solid block of colour.

What it actually does

• Creates a spotlight, not a stripe. MAKEUP BY MARIO built the formula to concentrate light on one point of the lid or cheek, so the shine reads as a lit area rather than a drawn line.
• Stays translucent however much you use. The brand calls it subtle and sheer with luminosity, which means your lid colour and skin tone still show through the sparkle.
• Builds from a whisper to a full glitter moment. Pat once for a faint wash; press more into the centre of the lid and the sparkles catch the light far harder.
• Works over a finished eye look. It is designed as a topper, so it goes on last to add shine to whatever shadow is already there.
• Doubles on the cheekbones. The brand positions it for eyes and cheeks both, using the same bouncy-powder texture for each.

How to use

1. Warm it with your finger. Swirl a fingertip in the pan first — the brand says this is what makes the powder lay down smoothly. Skip it and you get patchiness.
2. For a light wash: pat gently over a bare lid and stop there.
3. For the spotlight: press and layer it into the middle of the lid, keeping the edges lighter so the centre stays the brightest point.
4. As a finisher: tap it over an eye look you have already blended, to lift it with a see-through shine.

Note: brushes are not recommended here. Fingers give the pressure and warmth this texture needs.

Can I wear it on its own?

Yes. Patting it straight onto a bare lid is one of the brand's own suggested ways to wear it, and it gives the lightest version of the finish. Used as a topper over shadow you get the stronger, more reflective version.

Is it a highlighter or an eyeshadow?

Both, in practice. MAKEUP BY MARIO describes it as highlighting the eyes and cheeks, so the same pan covers lid shine and cheekbone shine.

Why does it say to use fingers?

Because the formula needs to be warmed and pressed. The brand's directions are to swirl a finger in the pan to soften the texture, then pat or pack it on — that pressing motion is what builds the spotlight effect.

How long does delivery take?

Delivery takes 3 to 21 working days, depending on availability. Pieces already in stock arrive at the shorter end; anything we bring in for you sits at the longer end. We message you if there is a delay.

What if the pan arrives broken?
