What it actually does

• Goes from cream to powder. It glides on soft enough to move around, then sets, which is what gives it the long-wear behaviour Fenty claims.
• Blends without dragging. The brand describes the formula as lightweight and blendable — it is meant to diffuse rather than sit in a hard line.
• Shade range across all skin tones. The contour line is built so the depth you pick can actually read as shadow on your complexion.
• Magnet-free packaging. Fenty began phasing magnets out of the Match Stix collections in December 2021 because magnets rely on nonrenewable resources. The brand states the formula and the rest of the packaging are unchanged.

How to use

1. Warm it first. Fenty's artistry tip: swipe a little onto the back of your hand, warm it with your fingers, then tap it onto skin.
2. Swipe where you want shadow. It is positioned as the matte-base first step of the Fenty face.
3. Blend out. Fingers work, or use the Portable Contour & Concealer Brush, sold separately.

Do I need a brush for it?

No. Fingers are a listed option, and warming the product on your hand before tapping it on is the brand's own pro tip. A brush is optional if you want tighter control.
