KVD Beauty Mini Everlasting Hyperlight Liquid Lipstick is the brand's transfer-proof liquid lipstick in a travel size, reworked into a much lighter formula. You get bold matte colour that stays through the day without the heavy, cracking feel that long-wear liquid lipsticks are known for.

What it actually does

• Stays put and does not transfer. This is the formula's main promise: all-day wear that will not print onto cups, cutlery or anyone else.
• Feels light for a matte. KVD rebuilt it to be hyper-lightweight and non-drying, with enough flex to move as your lips move.
• Resists feathering and flaking. Because it bends rather than sits rigid, it is less prone to caking at the edges as the hours pass.
• Heavily pigmented matte shades. The range runs from soft neutrals to loud, saturated colour, each one named after a poisonous plant or an unusual bloom.
• Precision applicator. A slim tip lines and defines; the angled edge fills the rest in without needing a separate pencil.
• Brand-tested comfort. KVD cites its own study of 32 volunteers in which every participant called it highly pigmented straight after applying and comfortable eight hours later, with almost all describing it as lightweight. Self-reported, so results vary.
• Formula notes. Vegan, cruelty-free, nourished with raspberry stem cells, and made without parabens, phthalates, mineral oil, sulfates SLS and SLES, oxybenzone, hydroquinone, coal tar, retinyl palmitate, formaldehyde and formaldehyde-releasing agents, triclosan and triclocarban, with under one percent synthetic fragrance.

How to use

1. Start on clean, dry lips — no balm underneath, or it will not grip.
2. Use the narrow tip to trace and shape your lip line.
3. Turn to the angled side to fill the rest in.
4. Leave it for roughly 30 seconds to set. Do not press your lips together or rub them while it dries.

Why does it need 30 seconds to set?

That is the window where the matte film forms. Pressing or smacking your lips during it disturbs the finish — wait it out and the transfer-proof wear holds.

Do I need a lip liner with it?

Not necessarily — the slim tip is made for lining, so you can shape and fill with the one applicator. A liner is optional if you want an even sharper edge.

Is it drying?

KVD describes the feel as non-drying, with raspberry stem cells added to keep lips comfortable through long wear. It is still a matte, so dry or chapped lips will show through — prep them beforehand and let the balm absorb fully.

How is the mini different from the full size?

Same formula, smaller tube. It is the low-commitment way to test a bold shade or to keep one in a small bag.
