A bar cleanser that behaves nothing like soap. Drunk Elephant Pekee™ Cleansing Bar washes away oil, grime and surface buildup with a blend of blueberry extract, marula oil and honey — at a skin-friendly pH of 6.5, so your face doesn't finish the rinse feeling tight or squeaky.

What it actually does

• Cleanses and balances in one step. Drunk Elephant describes Pekee as clarifying and toning while helping skin hold onto moisture, leaving it feeling firmer and more elastic.
• Soothes with blueberry extract — a potent antioxidant the brand credits with calming and anti-glycation properties.
• Nourishes with marula oil and honey. The oil brings omega 6 and 9 fatty acids and antioxidants; honey adds its own soothing, antioxidant support.

How to use

1. Wet the bar and lather it between your hands until creamy.
2. Massage the lather over your face, neck and chest, keeping it out of your eyes.

Isn't bar soap bad for your face?

Traditional soap is alkaline, which is what causes that tight, stripped feeling. Pekee contains no actual soap and sits at pH 6.5 — close to skin's own — which is why the brand positions it as cleansing and calming without disrupting the barrier.

Pekee or JuJu — which one do I need?

Pekee is the everyday gentle cleanse. JuJu (sold separately) adds mild exfoliation for use a few times a week. If you're picking one, start with Pekee; many people end up rotating both.
