What it actually does

• Works at hair scale. A 0.8 mm tip is roughly the width of a brow hair, which is why the strokes read as detail rather than drawn line.
• Adds dimension to an already-shaped brow. Benefit positions this as a detailing pencil — its job is depth and definition on top of the shape you have.
• Blends with its own spoolie. The built-in brush softens each stroke so nothing sits as a hard mark.
• A long exclusion list. Benefit states the formula is free of parabens, formaldehydes and formaldehyde-releasing agents, phthalates, mineral oil, retinyl palmitate, oxybenzone, coal tar, hydroquinone, sulfates SLS and SLES, triclocarban and triclosan, with under one percent synthetic fragrance.

How to use

1. Twist gently. This is a very fine tip — force snaps it.
2. Advance only to the edge. Bring the tip level with the clear protective tubing and no further; that is what keeps it supported while you draw.
3. Draw lightly, following the direction your own brow hairs grow.
4. Brush through with the built-in spoolie to blend.

How is this different from the regular brow pencil?

Scale. The Detailer's tip is microfine at 0.8 mm and exists to add fine detail, dimension and depth. If your brows need a shape drawn or large gaps filled, the standard Precisely, My Brow Pencil is the quicker tool.

Will the tip break?

It is very fine, so treat it accordingly. Twist carefully, only advance the tip until it is level with the clear tubing, and draw with light pressure. Those three habits are what Benefit's own instructions are built around.

Does it need sharpening?

No. It is a twist-up pencil — you advance the tip as it wears down, and there is clear protective tubing around it to guide how far.

How long does delivery take?
