PATRICK TA Dual-Ended Contour Brush puts two heads on one handle: an angled, fan-shaped side for cream products and a fluffy side for powder. The point is soft definition — shaping cheekbones, the jawline and the hairline without a hard stripe to blend out afterwards.
What it actually does
- Handles cream and powder on the same handle. PATRICK TA lists it as suitable for all formulas, so you are not swapping tools halfway through a sculpting step.
- Angled fan head for placement. The shape follows the natural lines of the face, which is what makes cream contour land where you intend it to.
- Fluffy head for finishing. The second side sets, diffuses and bronzes, so edges get softened instead of smudged around.
- Buildable by design. The brand describes the coverage as buildable — you add depth in passes rather than committing in one.
- Synthetic bristles, 5-inch handle. Full-length handle for arm's-length control, with a bristle type that suits cream formulas and washes clean.
- Vegan and cruelty-free. Per the brand's own ingredient callouts.
How to use
- Cream first, with the angled end. Use it to place product and carve out the shape you want.
- Switch to the fluffy end for powder. Sweep powder bronzer where you want warmth, then keep moving to set and blend the cream underneath.
- Work in light passes. Two thin layers read as bone structure; one heavy one reads as makeup.
- Wash it regularly. Cream products build up in the bristles — a gentle brush soap and a flat dry keeps both heads behaving.
Questions
Which end do I use for what?
The angled fan-shaped side is the cream side — it defines and shapes. The fluffy side is the powder side — it sets, bronzes and diffuses. Using them in that order is what the brand suggests.
Is it only for contour?
Contour is what it is built around — cheekbones, jawline and hairline are the areas PATRICK TA names. The fluffy end is also perfectly usable for general bronzer and for setting powder in those same zones.
