How to use

1. Start with almost nothing on it. A blender works best when the colour is already on the lid — tap off most of what you pick up.
2. Work the edge in circles. Move the round head along the line where your shadow stops so the transition disappears.
3. For a smoky eye, go dark first then blend. Place the black or deep shade with a denser brush, then take the 236 over the boundary until nothing reads as a hard line.
4. Hold it loosely. Light pressure keeps the wavy fibres fanned out — pressing hard turns a blender into an applicator.
5. Clean gently. Mild soap, lukewarm water, reshape the dome and dry flat so the waves recover.

Questions

Can I apply shadow with it, or only blend?

You can apply with it, but the result will be soft and diffused rather than saturated — that's what the shape and the wavy fibres are for. For colour that reads at full strength, lay it down with a flat shader brush first and use the 236 afterwards.

Is the large size too big for a small eyelid?

The size is there so you can cover a lot of ground quickly, which is an advantage even on smaller eyes if you keep the brush tilted and use just the side of the dome. If you want tighter control in the crease, a smaller blender or a shader shape is the better pick.
