Revealer Skin-Improving Foundation SPF 25 with Hyaluronic Acid and Niacinamide

Kosas Revealer Foundation is a liquid foundation with SPF and skincare actives built in, made to blur texture and soften the look of pores while still reading as skin. Coverage is medium and the finish is natural and slightly dreamy — not flat, not glassy.

What it actually does

• Evens tone while you wear it. Niacinamide and caffeine are included to brighten, smooth and balance how even your skin tone looks.
• Keeps skin calm and comfortable. Squalane, pro-vitamin B5 and arnica are there to soothe and help steady the skin's oil and moisture balance.
• Hydrates and firms the appearance. Peptides and hyaluronic acid round out the formula for a plumper, more hydrated look.
• Blurs texture rather than filling it. The point of difference Kosas claims is a lightweight, comfortable feel that does not look like a layer of makeup sitting on top.
• Brand-tested results. Kosas cites consumer and clinical studies on 32 participants reporting easier blending, the coverage they wanted, smoother-looking texture and less visible pores after four weeks. Largely self-reported, so results vary person to person.
• Built with sensitive skin in mind. Per the brand: hypoallergenic, non-irritating, non-acnegenic, non-comedogenic and dermatologically tested.
• Formula and packaging notes. Vegan, gluten-free, cruelty-free, in recyclable packaging — the glass bottle and over cap can be recycled, the pump cannot.

How to use

1. Pump onto the back of your hand, then apply with a damp makeup sponge or a brush (sold separately).
2. One pump for light coverage; two to three for medium through to fuller coverage.
3. Dry skin: exfoliate weekly so it has a smooth surface to sit on, and prep with a hydrating moisturiser.
4. Oily skin: prep with a light moisturiser, add a primer without silicones if you use one, then set with powder.
5. Combination skin: moisturiser, optional silicone-free primer, then powder on the T-zone only.
6. Normal skin: moisturiser, and powder only where you feel you need it.

Is the SPF enough on its own?

Treat it as a bonus, not your sun protection. A foundation is rarely applied thickly or evenly enough to deliver its rated protection, so keep a dedicated sunscreen underneath.

How much coverage can I actually build?

One pump reads light and sheer; two to three take you into medium and towards fuller. It is designed to layer without going heavy, so build slowly rather than applying everything at once.

Will it break me out?

Kosas lists it as non-comedogenic, non-acnegenic and dermatologically tested as safe for sensitive skin. No formula suits everyone, so if your skin is very reactive, start with a couple of wears before a long day in it.

Sponge or brush?

Either. A damp sponge gives the softest, most skin-like result; a brush pushes coverage a little higher. Both are sold separately.
