What it actually does

• Blurs rather than masks. The tint melts into skin and softens pores, uneven texture and dark spots, which is how you get the airbrush effect without piling on coverage.

How to use

1. Shake the bottle first. Always — the brand is explicit about this.
2. Apply with whatever you prefer. Brush, sponge or fingertips. Fingers have an advantage here: your body heat warms the formula so it melts into the skin more evenly.
3. Lay down one even layer. Blend out from the centre of the face for a consistent base.
4. Add thin layers to build. Repeat in light, luminous passes until you reach the coverage you want, rather than applying one heavy coat.
