What it actually does

• Builds volume gradually rather than instantly. The INKEY List describes this as a balm that works over time to visibly add lip volume, and cites clinical testing in which lips looked up to 40% plumper after four weeks of use.
• Plumps without the sting. Many plumping products rely on an irritant to swell the lip. The brand's position is that this formula reaches maximum fullness with no tingle and no irritation.
