What it actually does

• Eight shades, built to work together. The palette is laid out so the lighter shades prep and the darker ones define — you are not left with three colours you never touch.
• Talc-free. LAWLESS formulates this one without talc, which matters if you prefer to avoid it in powders that sit close to the eye.
• Starts with a base shade. First Base is there to set concealer or primer on the lid and even out any discolouration, so the shades you layer on blend more easily.
• Metallics that change with application. The brand notes the shimmer shades go sheer and soft with a flat brush, and far more intense applied with a fingertip or a damp brush.
• Deeper shades double as liner. Smudged into the lash line they read smoky; used damp they give a sharper, more defined line.
• Genuinely travel-sized. This is the compact format of the brand's original palette, made for a bag rather than a vanity — the founder's stated reason for creating it.
• Clean-formula callouts. Free of sulfates SLS and SLES, parabens, formaldehydes and formaldehyde-releasing agents, phthalates, mineral oil, retinyl palmitate, oxybenzone, coal tar, hydroquinone, triclosan and triclocarban, with under one percent synthetic fragrance.

How to use

1. Set the lid first. Sweep First Base over the whole lid to neutralise discolouration and give the other shades something to grip.
2. Place the crease shade high. Applying a mid-tone slightly above your real crease makes the eye look larger and more open.
3. Build light to dark. Going in order keeps the transition smooth instead of patchy.
4. Choose your metallic intensity. Flat synthetic brush for a soft wash; finger or damp brush for full-strength shine.
5. One-shadow shortcut. Pack a single shade over the lid with a dense brush, pressing hardest near the lash line, then diffuse the top edge with a fluffy blending brush.

Note: there is no fixed routine here — the shades are meant to be mixed and layered differently depending on the occasion.

It is the compact, on-the-go version of the brand's original palette — the same essential eye looks in a smaller, bag-friendly format with eight shades. If you want the wider shade range, go for the full size instead.

Do I need an eyeshadow primer?

Not necessarily. First Base is designed to set your concealer or primer and act as the blending layer, so you can start there if you prefer a shorter routine.

Can I use the shadows wet?

Yes. A damp flat brush intensifies the metallics, and the deeper shades applied damp give you a sharp liner line instead of a soft smudge.

How long does delivery take?

Delivery takes 3 to 21 working days, depending on availability. Items already in stock arrive at the shorter end of that window; anything we bring in for you takes longer. Working days exclude weekends and official holidays.

What payment methods can I use?

Can I return it?

Returns cover defective, damaged or expired items only, and need to be reported within 1 day of delivery. Once we verify the issue, your refund goes back to the original payment method within 15–30 days. We cannot accept returns for change of mind or for shade preference.
