Pixi TintFix Satin Lip Tint is a tube tint you can take to lips, eyelids and cheeks without changing products. The texture is silky and hydrating, which is why it blends out with a fingertip instead of needing a brush, and it holds colour without smudging. One universally-flattering shade, worn as sheer or as solid as you want it.

What it actually does
- Holds colour without smudging. Pixi describes the wear as long-lasting and smudge-free, which is the practical difference between a tint and a gloss.
- Hydrates while it tints. It is a smooth, hydrating tint in a tube rather than a drying matte liquid.
- Blends and layers easily. The silky base is made to be easy to move around, so you can thin it out or stack it up.
- Doubles as blush and a soft eye wash. The same tube covers lips, eyes and cheeks — handy if you keep your makeup bag small.
- One shade meant to suit everyone. Pixi positions it as a universally-flattering shade, which removes the shade-matching problem entirely.
How to use
- Start in the centre of the lips and smooth the colour outward for the most natural result.
- Tap what's left onto the apples of your cheeks with your fingers, while the formula is still movable.
- Layer for more. Go over the same area a second time where you want fuller coverage.
- On eyes, press a small amount across the lid for a monochrome look.

Is it safe to use near my eyes?
Pixi lists eyes as one of the three intended areas alongside lips and cheeks. If your eyes are sensitive, place a little on the outer lid first and see how you get on.
Will it dry out my lips?
It's built as a hydrating tint rather than a matte liquid lip, so the formula is smooth rather than tacky. There's no claim of treating dry lips, though — if yours are very dry, use a balm underneath.
Does it contain parabens?
No — Pixi lists it as paraben-free, and states it is not tested on animals.
