Hourglass Voyeur Waterproof Gel Eyeliner is a twist-up gel pencil for people whose liner normally does not survive the day. Hourglass rates it for up to 12 hours of waterproof wear without smudging, bleeding or fading, and the creamy gel lays down either a hairline flick or a thick, graphic line depending on how much you build it.

How to use

1. Twist the base to dispense a small amount of the gel tip — a little goes a long way.
2. Draw along the lash line in short connected strokes rather than one long sweep; it is easier to keep the line even.
3. Build it up with a second pass if you want more weight or a wing.
4. Retract the tip and press the cap back on firmly after every use. Gel formulas dry out fast if the cap is loose, and this one is no exception.
5. Remove with a waterproof remover — water alone will not shift it.

Can I smudge it for a smoky look?

You have a short window right after application while the gel is still soft. Once a waterproof formula sets, it is designed not to move — so blend immediately or not at all.

Does it sharpen?

No sharpener needed — you twist the base to dispense more product. Dispense only a small amount at a time.

Will it work on the waterline?

It is a waterproof gel formula built to resist bleeding, so the inner rim is where products like this usually earn their keep. If your eyes are sensitive, patch the outer lash line first for a day before you take it onto the waterline.
