Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Niacinamide Dew Balm SPF 45 is sun protection in a stick, built to behave like a serum. It shields with broad-spectrum SPF 45 rated PA+++, hydrates while it sits there, and works on tone over time thanks to the niacinamide in the formula.

What it actually does

• Protects across the UV range. Broad-spectrum SPF 45 with a PA+++ rating, so it covers UVA as well as UVB — the part that matters for pigmentation, not just burning.

After one week of daily use, 100% agreed the product felt lightweight without clogging pores or causing breakouts, 100% agreed it was gentle and non-irritating on sensitive skin, and 100% agreed it made reapplying SPF on the go easier.

How to use

1. Warm the bullet on the back of your hand first — it glides far better soft than cold.
2. Work area by area, taking four passes back and forth across each one. This is the last step of your skincare routine for full protection.
3. It's ophthalmologist tested for use all over the face, including around the eyes.
4. Keep going until you've reached the level of glow you want.
5. Rub in whatever's left sitting on the surface so the layer is even — patchy SPF is weak SPF.

Recycling: rinse the tube and cap until no product remains, then recycle through Glow Recipe's Pact Collective mail-back programme. The tube is made from post-consumer recycled plastic and the carton is FSC-certified partially recycled paper, printed with vegetable and soy ink.

Is SPF 45 with PA+++ enough on its own?

It's genuine broad-spectrum protection against both UVA and UVB. The thing that undermines any sunscreen is a thin or uneven layer, which is why the brand specifies four back-and-forth passes per area rather than one quick swipe.

Can I apply it over makeup?

That's one of the reasons it exists in stick form — Glow Recipe positions it for on-the-go reapplication. The formula is translucent, so topping up won't leave a chalky cast over your base.

Is it safe near my eyes?
